Music Lessons - Piano, Flute and Saxophone
Tim Koch provides private music lessons for piano, flute and saxophone. Lessons are provided for people throughout
the Cairns region. With more than 15 years experience, and having taught people
of all ages (both privately and for colleges), your musical accomplishment is assured!
A current Blue Card
is also held.
Music lessons are available for those that want to learn for fun
and for those that are preparing for musical examination from beginner level through to intermediate.
A range of styles may be learnt including classical, jazz, modern and contempory.
My belief is that first and foremost music should be an enjoyable experience. Musical competence
is achieved when a supportive and positive learning environment is provided.
How often should I have a lesson?
For most people a 30 minute lesson once per week is recommended.
For anyone wishing to study more intensively, 45 minute and 60 minute
lessons are available. Flexible arrangements will be provided to those that
are unable to attend on a weekly basis.
Lessons are available during the day or evening 7 days a week.
What will I need?
You will require your own instrument to learn flute or saxophone. Piano students
will require a piano at home of reasonable quality to practice effectively.
Piano lessons are provided with a 7' Beale Grand Piano at my music studio in Bayview Heights.
All Lessons are provided at my music studio in Bayview Heights unless other arrangements
are requested.
What are the costs?
- Individual 30 minute lessons are $25.00
- Individual 45 minute lessons are $35.00
- Individual 60 minute lessons are $45.00
- Pay for ten 30 minute lessons and get one FREE: $225.00
- Pay for ten 45 minute lessons and get one FREE: $315.00
- Pay for ten 60 minute lessons and get one FREE: $405.00
